Welcome to the Wheeler Ex-Students and Teachers Association! We are a community of former students, teachers, and staff who have come together to stay connected and support our alma mater.
The Ex-Students and Teachers Association of Wheeler Schools was organized in August of 1955, when the city was celebrating its 50th birthday. Harrison Hall, Carol Petit, M.L. Gunter, and Helen Sabbe along with many other ex-students worked diligently to inform all Wheeler ex-students and teachers about the 50th anniversary party planned for the town and to inquire whether an ex-student and teachers association would be supported by the community and alumni.
Since 1957, the Association has met every two years on the second full weekend in June. The first Ex-Students and Teachers Association handbook was published in 1957.
Our mission is to foster a lifelong bond between alumni and the school, provide opportunities for networking and social events, and support current students and staff through scholarships or other initiatives.
Wheeler High School has a rich history of academic excellence and community involvement, and we are proud to be a part of that legacy. We invite you to join us in staying connected and giving back to the school that has given us so much.
Join us today and stay up to date on all the latest news and events from Wheeler High School. We can't wait to see you soon!
